Product Description
The NÖVLEK® bituminous strip protects the upper surface and sides of the joist from water. Because it is waterproof, water runs off and is discharged easily. It prevents run-off water penetrating the many cracks and splits in the wood, which appear after a while, especially around screw holes. It avoids wood-on-wood contact, and also any rising damp.
It is strongly recommended for wooden joists with a natural durability classification greater than 1.
