Slab plate for tiled terrace – YEED
Laying deck or cement tiles on pedestals requires a few precautions to be taken during installation. The tiles on pedestals are quick and easy to install and do not require glue or joints.
Finish your terrace using a few essential accessories such as the slab plate for pedestals. This accessory allows the installation of the pedestals on the edge of the facade and also to carry out the lateral finishing of the terrace, so as to conceal the pedestals.
Usage of the slab plate:
The slab plate is placed directly on the head of the pedestal and the height of the pedestal is adjusted using the adjustment ring.
Laying tiles on a terrace requires: 4 pedestals per paving and a slab plate for each tile located around the periphery of the terrace or against a wall.
The installation is done in a few steps:
- Arrange the pedestals on the ground at a distance equal to the dimension of the tile paving
- Add the slab plates for pedestals at the edge of the terrace and on the pedestals located against a wall and adjust the height of the pedestals
- Lay the tiles on pedestals
- Check that the surface is levelled using a level meter
- Finish the paving terrace
