Massaranduba wood is a synonym of stability, since it easilly adapts to all environments. It is a class 1 resistance wood, that is often sought for Decks due to its naturally beautiful reddish brown heartwood.
This South American hardwood can be used in different types of exterior projects, as it is a wood with a high density. It is known for having a very fine grain and a long lifespan, since it can last up to about 30 years if proper care is taken.
Just like other hardwoods, it is highly decay, insect, mold and rot resistant. Compared to species like Ipe or Cumaru, it is a less expensive option.
